I'd be TRIPPING over Mrs. Johnson in my little house....but I'd love to have her come pick up after my teenager anyway!!!

However, we're still rennovating this house and I could REALLY use Willie!! ;D

I would love to have both Willie and Mrs. Johnson.  I live in a house built in 1921.  It took ten years of pleading with my husband to hire someone to renovate our bathroom.  It was a full year of interviewing contractors(no one would return our calls after viewing the hideous mess).  Finally, one contractor(bless him) put us on a nine month waiting list.  All it took for Barnabas was Willie, fangs, and a cane.  By the way, I did eventually get a useable bathroom.

..............More random thoughts I forgot to include.

I think the writers must have been middle aged men living out their fantasies through the characters Jonathan Frid portrayed.

I believe someone else on the board said by the time the story involved Roxanne it seemed like an old man chasing after a little girl.  They did seem like an oddly matched couple.

I think baby dolls are out but maybe an elegant ecru lace peignoir with a pima cotton gown topped with ecru lace straps.  Tres elegant with her red hair.

I love the scenes between Magda and Sandor.  They made a realistic old married couple.
Spoiler

Magda's grief was very believable and well handled by Grayson.

Oh thank you, Bob.  I just kept hearing about what a sweet child she is.  I am glad I am not the only one to notice all is not right with the girl.

Oh thank you, Kuanyin.  You wrote it so much better than I could.  I did not mean I didn't want her around.  I think she is a perfect replacement for the old David.  I just wish more characters caught on to her.  Caroline was getting suspicious but got distracted.

Gee Raineypark, I think you opened a can of worms.  It seems if you criticize someone's favorite the walls fall down on you.  I feel all alone in the character I dislike.  Unfortunately,  I can't stand Amy Jennings.  I like the actress and did not mind her as Nora.  Amy has always struck me as a manipulative accomplished liar.  She seems to have a knack at saying exactly what adults want to hear even before her ghostly influences.  Her wide-eyed oh so innocent delivery reminds me of Eddie Haskell(Leave it to Beaver).
Please don't think I hate kids.  I have two of my own and enjoy entertaining their friends.

Chris said he was 21 and had finished college.  It takes 5 years full time to get a degree in architecture.  You also have to pass a state exam to get your license not to mention an internship.  21? I don't think so.

I wish we could see a freeze frame of Julia with her head in Elizabeth's coffin.  It looked kinda silly.  I wanted her to shout "Help me, Barnabas!  I caught my hair on her ring."

I thought Liz looked well after her ordeal.  She had on very little make-up, no lipstick at all.  Joan Bennett looked good for an older woman.

I am sorry, Luciaphil.  I didn't want to pressure you but thanks for the mini-critique.  I will content myself with re-reading your past columns.  Take it easy.

I have met Fred Schneider and I don't think he sounds anything like EM(The ersatz Craig Slocum).

You surprised me, Luciaphil.  I thought that you would make mention of the original characterization of Maggie as being your favorite.  I agree with your choice of Lady Kitty but the "Eve Arden" like waitress would have been a good strong character and it is too bad the writers changed it.
PS.  When can we expect another column.  I live for your critique of clothes.  Did you catch the ochre pantyhose with Maggie's navy blue dress?  Odd eye-make up on the ladies?
