Then, after Victoria returns, there's absolutely NO mention of Sarah Collins again (though she was the whole reason behind the seance), Burke Devlin is NEVER mentioned (though Vicky was completely distraught over his death); Julia's incriminating red diary is conveniently forgotten, and Eagle Hill Cemetery is suddenly miles and miles away from Collinwood! Am I crazy, or have people been walking to it since then?

I think the writers hoped us dumb little kids would forget all this stuff so Barnabas and Julia could turn into good guys.  The new"dumb" Vicki would harp on Jeff/Peter.  Basically, we are just supposed to forget what we learned no matter what plot they make-up whether it jibes with what they wrote before.  These inconsistencies go on throughout the series.[spin]

You seem to be recovering nicely with your sense of humor in tact.  You are an inspiration.
My mother worked for an optometrist for over 20 years.  The most squeamish patients were the USC football players.  She said you put the contacts in their eyes and they would fall to the floor in a dead faint.[twch2]

I've wondered how each person possessing the secret is fortunate enough to be of sound mind and body and knows just when to transmit the secret right before conveniently expiring.

Someone refresh my memory, please.  How was "The Secret" handled during the 1840 segment?  I still can't suspend my disbelief about tight-lipped Joshua spilling his guts to Daniel.  I don't mind spoilers.  Thanks.

This whole "The Secret" plot makes no sense.  First, Grandmamama was only a Collins by marriage so why would she know about " The Secret". SPOILER************************ Second, Daniel was crazier than a bedbug when we see him in 1840 so how could he tell anything to anyone and why would Ben let him.  Lastly, I don't think Joshua would have told anyone.

I have always disliked this plot angle.  I think Joshua laid his son to rest and that would have been the end of it.  I cannot see him having a warm fuzzy heart to heart with Daniel about this subject.  Wasn't the will and who inherits enough intrigue without " The Secret"?

Thanks so much for the info, Gothick.  Its nice to know the time travel aspect wasn't completely out of the realm of possiblity.

Can anyone tell me when the famous "Grandmamamama" blooper is? I don't want to miss that one.

Does anyone know anything about I Ching?  I thought it was for predicting the future.  I am sure it isn't used for time travel.  Barnabas would have better luck with Prof. Stokes magic herbs.

P.S. Raineypark, I love your new avatar.  My son has a sweatshirt from Salem with a witch like that on it.  By the way, they have a tour in Salem that shows a man and a women identified as witches explaining that the term warlock means traitor(not male witch).

I think that Julia should have suggested to Ned Stuart that he take the sedatives,  because if anyone needs a sedative,  it's defintely him!!

I think Ned needs a straight jacket so he is forced to keep his paws to himself.  What a pervert!

Note to Julia: Uhhh, you offered Wyndcliffe for Sabrina, which was an OK idea, sure. But, WHAT ABOUT AMY? One child has disappeared, noone can keep track of even one child, couldn't you have thought of it for her?

I totally agree with the suggestion about Amy.  She definitely needs to be sedated and locked away at Wyncliffe.  However, she would probably escape like everyone else does and be back at Collinwood in 10 minutes.

But if we go with the Phoenix spirit theory thing, then the "Laura" who knows who Josette is/was would be the Phoenix spirit who knew Josette.

Besides no matter how you slice it, there was still a body in that morgue in Arizona that they found the locket on while "Laura" was cavorting around Collinsport wearing the same locket.

How would Laura know about Josette?  If Barnabas was supposed to be just a boy how could Josette be there? Barnabas met Josette in Martinique and she came to Collinsport for her wedding.  Angelique would have been there, too.  I am completely confused and I have seen this part of the story before.

I have been in many old houses in Maine and no matter how big or grand the home there is usually no bathrooms upstairs unless modern owners put them in.  One lovely 200 yr old mansion had one bathroom just off the kitchen.  You had to go through the entire house and through the kitchen to get to it.

I think Cyrus Longworthy's glasses were special sorta like Clark Kents.  When the mild mannered Cyrus slipped off his glasses he became Super"homicidal pervert" man.[evily]
