I agree with Josette.  Tim and the Hand are two lonely bachelors and maybe the Hand thinks it will get out more.  You know, the whole wine, women, and song thing or cigarettes, whiskey, and wild wild women thing.  The Hand could like cute, young, and stupid men just like it's former owner Count Petofi.

I just finished watching the movie.  I hate AMC.  The new AMC puts in way too many interruptions.  I think I will check and see if "The Uninvited" is available in DVD.

MB,
Everything is working fine.  Famous Maine expression "Now ain't that odd" and your response would be "Ayuh".  Of course, I have been told non-natives are not supposed to use the term "Ayuh".

Hi MB,
I got #590 Unchunk Failure again.  The message says "This web page could not be opened with the specified browser request."  I was able to get through by opening microsoft internet explorer.  Am I the only one getting this weird message?

MB,
Everything seems to be working fine.  Thanks for looking into it.  When I first read it, I thought it said "upchuck error" and my computer has never barfed that I am aware of.  Lets hope it never does.  Thanks again.

Not much stranger than any of the other nonsense on the show.

So true!   "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men" (heard that said by Willy Wonka)

LOL! I hear ya! And I'll tell you this too - if I did get riled up enough to put that type of curse on someone I would probably do so in the same manner one might put the classic bag of dog doo on a porch - light it and head for the hills...woohoowoohooooooo! That's all folks!!!

What a riot!  I think Magda would have caused a lot less trouble if she pulled the dog doo stunt on Quentin.  Castlebee, I read your post right after I read Luciaphil's column and I'm still laughing.  Thanks for the day brightener.

Lucia,
Hilarious!  I will never be able to view this episode with a straight face again.  Giant crazed chipmunk, indeed.  What a laugh riot.  I wish I could copy this to read when I'm feeling low.

There is a "Reverend" in my area that seems to be a replica of the first Rev. Trask.  The newspaper refers to him as "so called" Reverend and "self-styled" Reverend whenever he causes a fuss about something.  Several years ago, he was going to have a bonfire in a public park to burn Harry Potter books but the town refused him a burn permit.  He ended up in the park anyway but just cut the books up.  There was a lot of people at the park to protest his group's message.  In fact,  there were quite a few librarians at the counter-protest.  I can only imagine what he would think of Dark Shadows.  The Reverend's most recent statement regarding another matter in the news was "I will stop protesting when everyone realizes I am right and they are wrong".  Reverend Trask would be so proud.

Happy Birthday.  This seems to be a very popular month for birthdays so find a birthday twin and have a real blow-out.  Candles, I mean.
