Happy Nude Year, my dear cousins.  Winter comes to Maine at last.  My car is covered in a coffin of ice and I ain't going anywhere on roads that look like glass.

What could be more fun than giving a pompous ass a wedgie?

Edmonds had the same flair as the late, great Clifton Webb with this sort of vicious yet elegant dialogue.

Everytime I see a movie with Clifton Webb, I think of the late Mr. Edmonds.  I just saw the movie "Laura" recently and thought how good our beloved Mr. Edmonds could have played that part.  He also could have handled some of George Sanders roles.  Mr. Edmonds was far more dashing than both Sanders and Webb but with just as much acerbic charm.

Did everyone forget Mrs. Rumson's "Swiss Miss" braids?

Its not too far off topic.  Genie named her son Jameson Ivor.  Her father Ivor played Elizabeth's doctor and Jameson was a character on DS.

Genie Francis now lives  in the beautiful state o'Maine.  She owns a shop in Belfast.  I believe it is called "Cherished Home".  I caught a glimpse of it  when she gave an interview.  It is in a pretty little yellow and white  farmhouse.  I hope to go and see it soon but if it snows I ain't going until spring.

I think David Hennesy looks so cute.  I guess the old commercials could be very politically incorrect.  I wonder when they got rid of Frito Bandito and So Hi?  I remember Quake and Quisp.  Quake tasted just like Cap'n Crunch.  I did not like Quisp.

I saw Jack Palance as Dracula when I was a kid.  I always thought all vampires did was drink blood but he played it so sensual that I was shocked.  I can't understand how DC could be a part of making Dracula with Jack Palance with all that raw sensuality and make Mr. Frid play a complete monster in HODS.

In the shot of Roger Davis, a fan appears to be touching her hair.  It must be catching.

David,  Thank you so much for the reminder.  My husbands has been trying to rent this but nobody has it.  Wow, can Ms Vestoff belt out a song.

Mark,  I can just see Mothra landing on the lawn.  I think a mummy could have been done without bringing Laura into the plot.  Quentin was in Egypt, too.  Prof. Stokes could have brought a mummy to the college to study.  Mummy and Quentin renew their old battle.  This would have given Selby a front and center plot.  Lord knows he needed one.

I liked both Burkes.  I found them both to be bossy but watch some of the sitcoms of that era.  I remember that Darren on Bewitched to be very domineering.  Maybe Vicki should have burned her bra in front of Burke. :o

He was an IDIOT!  [hall2_rolleyes]

This actor played the same character in the movie "Airport".  He was the perfect idiot in that one too.

Connie,  I wish you the best of luck.  It sure beats my solution.  I wish it to the cornfield(basement) and make it go away. [hall_undecided] [hall_cry]
