The movie is boring and Grayson has so little screen time.  Was this before or after" Night of the Iguana"?

I loved all of Nancy's characters but Carolyn was from the core family we were first introduced to.  I guess I feel a certain loyalty to her character.  Her character Carolyn taught me all the hazzards of dating from Joe to Buzz to lawyer to faux man to wolf to cheap pig(the poor girl couldn't catch a break).

I remember being spooked as a kid but I was surprised to have his ghost episodes scare me again when I saw them on the Sci-fi channel. :o

Thank you so much, Pennydreadful. ;D  Last night and the day before, the picture of the monster was not there.  All I saw was a picture of the cast with an offer for desktops.  This morning, there was the monster as big as life.  Ain't that odd?  Thank you again. :-*
This is such a waste of talent and money but I guess thats the way the business operates.

On our cable, we have two french speaking stations from Canada.  Maybe I can write them and ask them to play Dark Shadows.  Josette and Angelique will finally speak nothing but french but then so will everyone else.

I feel so stupid but I clicked on the link provided but cannot see  *Creature Feature.  I have reread every article hoping to find a link embedded in one of them.  I feel left out.  Great articles, I have them memorized by now.

Although I did find a poignancy in the scene where Julia made him admit that Josette never loved him... even though they changed that backstory about 3 weeks after that scene was played...
Angelique was never mentioned until the 1795 story but wouldn't that have been interesting.  Barn in love with Josette but she isn't interested.  Angelique in love with Barn but he isn't interested.  Jeremiah interested in Victoria but she isn't interested.  Natalie interested in Nathan Forbes but he isn't interested.
Luciaphil, I am so glad you have undertaken this task.  I cannot find my tapes regarding early DS and am enjoying your column immensely.  Thank you.

I always thought she borrowed the wig from Norman Bates.  Gee, maybe the dress, too.

Anthony George had a nice, dignified and gentle quality and that's why I'm peeved Jeremiah was so dehumanized when he came the "ghost of Jeremiah". The character deserved better.

I thought this, too.  The writers seemed to hint at a budding romance between Vicki and Jeremiah.  They had several good scenes together.  Jeremiah's role seemed to have been sped up and eliminated.

I'll wait till someone comes out with a Barnabas doll with a pull string.  "WILLY!!!!!!"  "YOU BETRAYED ME!!!" etc.

I love too many episodes to pick a favorite but I do get a kick out of the episode when the Countess Dupres shows up.  She flaps her big hat feather in Barnabas face and bad mouths Maine.  Joshuas reaction to her was priceless.

Someone could have whittled the bottom down to a point and staked Barnabas with it....[vryevl]

Willie deserved that honor after what Barnabas did to him with that cane. [13]

I wish they had allowed the character Barnabas to have a sense of humor.  I am so glad Mr. Frid is sharing his humorous side with us.

I always remember Julia twisting her gloves.  I don't remember any of the other ladies even wearing gloves.  I thought it added a classy touch to Julia's character(strong but still the lady).
