I used to watch soaps when I was a teenager.  I would look in now and again but I don't even do that.  My late mother-in-law was a fan of  "Days of Our Lives" so I watched it with her.  My problem with soaps are the never ending agony of some plot lines.  "Days" had a woman buried alive for months.  I finally told my Mom to call me when "whats-her-name" was dead or dug up because it was too ridiculous to watch anymore.  At least, plots moved along in Dark Shadows.

I have to disagree with you, Magnus.  Dr. Lang is not like any doctor I have ever met.  By the way, my brother is a doctor and he is rather short and soft spoken.   My own doctor is also soft spoken and a bit of an old hippie.  Dr. Lang needs to tone it down a bit. [snow_sick2]  He reminds me of the old pitchmen that say I am not a doctor but I play one on TV.

I live in Maine and it snows and snows and snows.  Coastal Mainers get plenty of snow.  One year there was so much snow piled up the bus driver could not see my son waiting at the bus stop.  I live twenty minutes from the coast.  It can snow off and on from the end of November to the end of March.  We are expecting a blizzard this weekend and the snow on the ground in my backyard is up to my knees now.  Unfortunately, it has been too cold and the snow too fluffy to make a snowman.  I will not see grass or flowers until June so yes we do have snow in Maine.

Wonderful photos and the music just doubled the pleasure.

I have seen that commercial 5 or 6 times and never paid attention who the actors were.  Thanks for pointing this out.  Now, I probably won't see it again.

Sadly, I do not have HBO.  Is it legal for someone to post some "tastefiul yet organic to the plot" stills?

Oh boy.  What would Barnabas have done if Willie, Roger, or even Harry Johnson had turned out to be the reincarnation of his beloved Josette?

I know what Barnabas would do if it were Harry Johnson  [puke]

I loved that scene, Joeytrom.  I thought Turgeon's acting was great in Airport.  He was an obnoxious pain in the ass the entire movie.  Of course, if he was obnoxious in real life than I guess his acting wasn't so great.

I was going to say that DS has not influenced my life.  However, I live in Maine(9 months of winter, three months of damn poor sledd'n) and I am a recluse.  My neighbors also disappear for months.  We won't see each other until we all start mowing are lawns in July.  I also have a room in my house with a dirt floor covered by bricks(root celler) but my husband is not buried in there.  I don't think anyone else is under there either.

I am so upset.  I just clicked on that stupid pig and got a huge cure award.  I am going out to the store right this minute and buying the biggest bag of pork rinds I can find.  If you can't beat 'em, eat 'em.
     Happy CIP Day!

Happy Birthday, Annie.  Don't you just love Dom's great picture of Quentin?  Made my day happy, too.
