What Does This Mean?

I see the caption on the homepage "A Black Day In DS History".  Can someone explain what that was?  Did it have anything to do with the actors' strike?  Or was it a significant day for just Dark Shadows?

I wouldn't doubt it. But if Craig Slocum has a fan, then so must Roger Davis. I know someone who thinks he's good looking and I don't disagree, actually when I first saw him as Peter Bradford I thought he was pretty good looking. But when he started to talk that took care of that. I can't stand abrasive voices.

Actually, he does have fans on the Forums.  Not all have been active recently, but Amanda comes to mind:

Luckily, being a hetero male, I'm unburderned here by the issue of whether he's sufficiently "attractive", and I'm able to just say that I think he's one of many good actors on DS who had some bland characters to contend with, but had good moments too.    100-year-old Tate, how about that...
