I found the subject matter extremely distasteful. I won't say anything here to spoil it in case you do decide to read it. I will say that I thought it was horribly written.

(Something like that really does make me want to read it, I'd be hoping the book was interestingly out-there and not for mainstream tastes, which can be great...)
