Hello everyone!...Sorry to venture away from DS discussions.....but I was wondering if anyone has any of the following items on videotape by any chance....

-Guiding Light Opener with the lighthouse and cast montage(Circa 1995) with: Nadine Cooper,Lucy Cooper,Buzz Cooper,Blake Marler....etc...
(I have been looking for this one for a long time and nobody seems to have it!!)

-The Doctor's-Open and Closing(Circa 1979)

One Life to Live-Champagne and Nobody opener and closing(Circa 1992)

-Search For Tommorrow closings.(1986) new theme after the Henderson Flood...

I am really desperate to get ahold of these items....if anyone has one or more of these please let me know...I am willing to pay A TRUCKLOAD to get ahold of em'....especially that Guiding Light opener i mentioned above.....

?!?  Hm....I remember the lighthouse on Guiding Light and occasionally I watch One Live to Live.  One of my friends tapes all the soaps (soapaholic) so I'll ask her if she has some of these in her vast collection for you. No Doctors or Search For Tomorrow.   It'll take awhile though, she doesn't have email & I have to call her.  I'll get back to you soon.

If not, check with a soap opera magazine & ask their q&a departments.   Ok?

Yes, Nancy was on The Doctors briefly. She played Nurse Ryker, who was trying to come between Carolee and Steve.  Ah, the memories that brings back. . .

I have been taping GL for many years, typically I tape over it.  However, occasionally I come across old tapes I just haven't taped over.  So if I come across the one your looking for I'll let you know.  

May I ask what you want it for?  Do you just save the openings?  I like the new one, it's fresh.  They do need to updates those occasionally, sometimes it seems they go for years without changing it.

Julia Duffy was in Newhart (the one set at the Stratford Inn in Vermont) throughout the 1980s. From what I understand, that is where she met her husband, Jerry Lacy (Dark Shadows' Tony Peterson, Rev. Trask)--who was a writer on the show.

She was in the second to last year of Designing Women and in a shortlived sitcom called Baby Talk with Scott Baio, which was essentially a ripoff of those Look Who's Talking movies...

I like to save the Openers of some shows because I like to take time to appreciate the hard work put into them.So many Soaps have opening themes that are very creative and vibrant but yet they still go unnoticed.Those Openers I mentioned above are an example....especially the GL one.Thank Goodness someone may have it.Please let me know asap if you do.
