Lots of soap opera stuff that involves the relationships between Quentin, Daphne, Samantha, Gerard and Joanna. It's all very convoluted and only marginally interesting.
There's friction in the Grimes house as Mordecai is aghast that Jeremy is interested in Carrie. He defies dad to rendezvous in secret with Carrie. Carrie seems uncomfortable with sneaking around. Jeremy shows signs of acting possessive.
Gerard has plans of his own for Mr. Grimes. He conjures up the same silly looking shadow that Angelique used during the Leviathan sequence and it's no less silly here. Mordecai expires promptly but not before telling an already hysterical Carrie that Quentin was responsible.
No surprise that Thayer David gives the best performance in the episode. What is surprising is that they used Thayer for such a minor character who could easily have been played by a day player.
