[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Setup:
Julia: Quentin, you're quite right, the easiest way to solve this problem is for Barnabas and me to go back to 1840 and change history, and we would be delighted to do that, if only we didn't already have plans to...
-
... skip to Brazil with all the money Barnabas is about to inherit.
-
"...go to 1995 again and pick up a bunch or sports results so we can come back here and make a fortune."

Heh, talk about making the best of a bad situation! [hall2_grin]
..Just hope they don't run into [spoiler]Burke Devlin,[/spoiler] there.
"watch a Bonanza marathon"
"run off to Atlantic City to get hitched"
"attempt to breed a zebra with a horse"
"go back in time to a few weeks ago to catch a movie we missed"
-
LOL, all!
-
"... go bowling in 1952."
"... begin a new storyline by squeezing through the fireplace into Candy Land."
"... wash each other's hair."
"... go and save the world from a more interesting menace."
-

-

--wash that crap out of Barnabas' hair
--Find me a water bra
--audition for the latest Sondheim B'way bound musical
--stage an intervention between Stokes and all the Boston cream pies in the state.
-

Two absolutely perfect ones, Uncle Roger!! [stfl] [thumb]

Thank you kindly. Maybe at some point they should let someone else do the time traveling/dimension hopping. I doubt if anyone could have screwed things up much more. [8_1_209] [8_1_209] [8_1_209]

(I don't see how anyone else could possibly screw things up more!! [ghost_nowink])
-
Perhaps Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect?
-
([pointing-up] I haven't seen that...)

Without giving too much away, his character has the ability to transcend time and inhabit the body of his younger self. He attempts to alter history by changing the course of certain events. He does. While certain catastrophes are averted, the results produce even worse situations for all involved. I naturally thought of Barnabas when I watched it. Of course, he would dismiss it altogether.

(You better believe it - Barn can do no wrong!! [nodno] At least not in his mind!! [hall2_rolleyes])
