Keep in mind that even if Midnite might not be around, I probably will be.

Though I have complete confidence in Dom because, as Midnite has mentioned, he was a part of the original planning of our first VantageNet forum. In fact, it was his idea to have the montages change (particularly after Sci-Fi brought DS back in 1999). Dom also moderated the forum in 2000 while Midnite and I were at the NY Fest. I like to think of Dom as a third benevolent dictator in the forum's new triumvirate.

No need to apologize, Connie - I know you were only joking, and I love your sense of the absurd. If you'd been even the slightest bit serious, somehow I think you're a hell of a lot smarter than to try to hatch a plot with Dom in public.

I suppose I might have also pointed out that Dom is a hell of a lot smarter than to be swayed. Not only because of his own innate intelligence and extreme loyalty, but because Dom probably realizes that whatever the MB bestoweth can easily be taketh away - and what might follow could make the Ten Plagues of Egypt look like a minor slap on the wrist.

dom, good luck with the new position. it's a rather thankless job being a moderator and playing cop with folks. however, it is a worthy endeavor which keeps our little ds community alive.

also, good to know that MB and midnite have more help.
