Yes, Beverly Garland was good and likable on My Three Sons, but I remember being surprised to learn, when she was on Remington Steele as Laura Holt's mother, that she could be funny.

When I was looking her up on IMDB I noticed that she had a guest appearance on The Rookies, the 1970s police show in which Kate Jackson played the wife of one of the rookies.

Ms. Garland was also in a nifty 1968 film called PRETTY POISON in which Clarice Blackburn had a small role.
