Okay, this has probably been asked before. but, guess what? I don't care! So, tell me. What's your favorite storyline out of the episodes of 'Dark Shadows' you've seen? Mine is still 1795

I also favor the 1795 storyline, it is also very easy to see whom I favor within it...

Sarah was to be the basis of Victoria's journey back in time although Sarah was somewhat forgotten when the witchcraft begain to fly...... so to speak..<g>

My favorite is 1795, but 1897 is close behind.

My favorite is the second half of 1897

Oh, honestly, real time is my favorite. It used to be such a relief to me when they would return to it! It anchors the show. I love most of the time periods now, but I think 1897 would be my first choice. 1840 (is that right?) is up there too.

I prefer the storylines with HAA, but 1897 is probably my favorite, overall, because I love the time travel stuff, most of the writing was very good, nearly ALL of the characters were superb, and Evan Hanley was a particular riot, IMO.  The first three or four weeks after Nicholas Blair comes to Collinwood are also a hoot, though, especially the scenes between HAA and Lara Parker when she was still Cassandra.

Cheers,

Linda

Dom-

I am intrigued that the earliest shows are your favorites, may I ask why?  I have always liked them because of their atmosphere, way different from the rest of the show, IMHO. Maybe it's the black and white.

To answer the question at hand, I guess I like 1897 best, but the early Barnabas eps are great!  Also very much enjoy 1795 and the Dream Curse storyline. PT1841 is at the bottom of my list.

No matter which storyline - Dark Shadows rocks!

1795 is my favorite, followed closely by the introduction of Barnabas storyline.

1795. It gives the basis for every other storyline (except PT) Plus I also love the wardrobe!

Definately 1840.

-Lindsey

However, I enjoy all of the storylines besides the Parallel Time ones.
