Yes, Morey would have been great as Desmond.  Maybe Morey/Desmond could have also played the cello as he cracked his many jokes? [snow_cheesy]

I think the original Scrapbook Memory book is the best one of KLS' books.  It was interesting reading about Ms. Scott's Minnesota origins and her experiences in NYC, both at the Playboy Club and, of course, on Dark Shadows.  Ben Martin's DS photographs were also superb.

I remember buying the book at a now long-gone book store, a few doors down from Radio City Music Hall in NYC, way back in 1987.  Time flies!

I think that Mel C. had a heck of a lot more personality than Judah Z. ever did! [snow_cheesy]

Uncle Roger,

I recall a quote in Shadowgram, back in 2000 or so, where KLS said that she really did not have all that much more to say (or write) about DS.

I guess Ms. Scott DID remember some more DS anecdotes after all.

Wow!  "The Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman," the late  John Zackerly used to show that cinematic "classic" on his television show in NYC, back during the early 1960s.

I've never seen "Ruby," but it seems like another classic B-film of the past.  Has Roger Davis ever mentioned it at any of the DS Festivals?

Uncle Roger,

Do you think KLS will include Judah's journal in one of her "bundle-book" deals, she's currently promoting? [snow_smiley]

Yes, The Avengers was a great show, especially with Dame Diana Rigg and the late, lamented Patrick MacNee.

In one of the Emma Peel episodes, entitled Epic, there is a scene where Mrs. Peel is "threatened" by a vampire, who is portrayed by actor Peter Wyngarde.  It almost has a Dark Shadows flavor to it.  Great fun!

Yes, it was great that that one contestant (a substitute teacher from Arizona, I believe) knew the correct answer! [8_2_73]

I think that the Jeopardy writers have used Dark Shadows in the past as a question in other categories.

I read on Lara Parker's web site that she states she does not make all that much money on her DS novels.  I guess her novels are a "labor of love."

However, after reading the comments here, I'm not in a hurry to read any of Ms. Parker's DS books.  Sorry, Angelique. [santa_undecided]

Yeah, it's got to have been either Ned Calder or the immortal "Buzz"  Hackett. [santa_thumb]

Wanted to swap Roxannes

Never getting to see Willie's girlfriend, Roxanne, is one of Dark Shadows' great mysteries, like who was bitten (and apparently killed) by the vampiric Roxanne Drew just before the destruction of Collinwood? [santa_huh]

To be fair, Barnabas should demand a recount of the election results. [8_2_73]

I suspect that Julia became "acquainted" with cold chamber pots when she occasionally stayed overnight at the Old House from 1967 through 1970. [hall2_rolleyes]  [hall2_grin]
