I watched it, primarily because I watched The Walking Dead (now that the final episodes are airing, my next two months of Sunday evenings are booked).  I wasn't planning on it - I thought it was only going to be on the AMC streaming thing and not the cable network  (I don't stream - when it comes to TV I pond:  untrendy, flat and immoveable), and I wasn't really expecting it would be much along with being too lazy to change the channel.

Was I wrong.

On both counts - it is airing on normal TV (along with that accursed streaming), and the pilot episode stunned me.  It wasn't just good - I was literally shocked by what they aired - in the terms of language, sex, violence and gore - on a non-subscription, standard cable network.  Not that TWD hasn't had its share of the eff-word thrown around along with plenty of intestines and internal organs pulled out of living bodies being devoured by a zombie horde, so it's not new, but I couldn't believe the extent to which they permitted it on this show along with everything else.

So I guess when TWD goes to the great beyond of streaming archives, I'll continue my Sunday AMC viewing with IWtV.

Jacob Anderson Saw the Meme-ification of Don’t Worry Darling Happen in Real Time
The Interview With the Vampire actor discusses binge-reading Anne Rice’s novels and his thoughts on filmic meta-commentary.

And BTW, yes, I did rewatch the other night. I enjoyed it even more than the first time. And it's on again at least three more times on AMC, on the 9th, the 12th and the 15th. (In fact, on the 15th the first two eps will be repeated back-to-back.) So maybe...
