You are probably right Connie about someone back then copying her signature. i can see now after really looking that 'ANG" in 'ANGELIQUE" is different. i think the way both signatures are at an angle or slant threw me off. -robert

Thats the best way to view them Midnite, Its a pretty good site for downloading and saving pictures. plus its free,  I must have well over 200 photos stored.  I will be adding more collectiable pictures as well as the ones I took of  "collinwood"  in 1993, over the weekend.

I don't know about all the signatures on the cards Dom, but the signature "Angelique" on the cards and the pin-up poster of her are the same as Lara Parkers "Angelique" signature on a 8 x 10 picture i recently bought from her web site.

Dom,  i'll let you know when i see another "history of DS" book, it's been a few years since i have seen any for sale.  Ricky, thats funny about   "Mausalayium",  i can still remember him (from the MPI tapes), referring to Maggie as "that girl"  to sam, burke and joe.  i thought he was a close friend to the evans'. why wouldn't he just say "maggie".

Cassandra, what a tragic story about the collinwood school, but isn't strange that the DS tv "collinwood" (seaview) is being used as a school today?

Thank you everyone for your input. looks like you narrowed it down to a couple of good choices. i watched this episode last night, and saw that Barnabas carried Maggie into the secret room where she awakens inside the coffin.  then from Maggie's point of view, she sees Barnabas close the coffin lid. it did not show Barnabas or anyone else standing next to the coffin as shown in the gum card.

Hello Dom, The "introduction of Barnabas" book was put out by the Dark Shadows Festival back in 1988,  it is a detail description of episodes #210 - #365. and is 144 pages long, includes well over 100 B&W photos (actors, sets, old house, collinwood, gum cards, etc) also includes blueprints to the collinwood & the old house sets. i believe the DS festival re-issued this book and has it for sale for $15.00.  if you have ever read any of Kathleen Resch's "concordances" books. it is similar. and well worth the money. the festival also came out with "the history of Dark Shadows" which covers episode #1 - #209. i don't think that one is still avaiable.

Happy Birthday Alexandra...keep up the good work.

Ricky, this is from the "Introduction of Barnabas" book. "During a 1967 national association of broadcast employees and technicians union strike (NABET), the Dark Shadows actors were requested to honor the NABET strike by not crossing the picket lines and reporting to work. However, most of the actors continued to show up at work since the strike was not an actors strike.  two actors who refused to work during the strike were Robert Gerringer and Daniel Keyes, their roles as Dr. Woodard and the caretaker, were recast as a result.

Current Talk '04 I / Maggie's mysterious guest..who is he?

Does anyone know who this is with Maggie? i posted this question many years ago on the DSCC news letter and nobody could come up with an answer. i read the big article about the 1968 gum card set posted on the darkshadows.co.uk site, and found out that the picture for the card was taken during episode #248. which featured Burke, Sam, Maggie, Barnabas, Willie & Sheriff Patterson.  -robert
