OT - In your profile under Look and Layout Preferences, you can check the box next to "Return to topics after posting by default," and then a topic will load after you post to it.  Clicking "modify" allows you to edit it for a period of time afterward.

Sorry, I guess I didn't explain it very well.  First off, you mean 8, not 8pt (8 points); the latter provides many options for text length, btw, but don't space between the number and unit.

The developers established a limit at size 9 and size 99pt, which means that if you use a larger number in your code (i.e. size=10 or size=100pt), the code will not work.

But it looks to me, anyway, that size 7, 8, and 9 (not 7pt, 8pt, or 9pt) give you the same result, so you will get the maximal text size using any of those.  Therefore, typing the numbers without the unit of length (pt or px will work here) as you did in your posts only gives you 7 choices of text size:  size=1, size=2, size=3, size=4, size=5, size=6, and size=7.

Also, size 7, 8 (and 9) result in the same size text.

The text size limit set by the SMF developers is 99pt.  But please, don't.

That gave me a flashback.  I remember the print ads advertising "Oh!rbachs."

It was a discount department store-- in other words, fashion knock-offs that I could afford as a struggling student in the early 70s.  I shopped at the Ohrbachs in the Del Amo Mall ( to tripwire) and the one on Wilshire Blvd; the latter was legend for its shoe sales.  As soon as I started making more money at college jobs (most of my earnings went to clothes and shoes), I switched to more upscale stores.  My guess is that DS chose Ohrbachs for the same reason-- a tight budget.
