(Though 1840 is actually some fans' favorite storyline, as evidenced by the fact that it came in #3 in a DS storyline poll back in '98...)

Post by: Uncle Roger on April 09, 2018, 09:36:29 PM: I prefer the contemporary characters. Perhaps it's because they were the characters who were on when I first discovered DS but I have a much stronger emotional connection to Elizabeth, Roger, Carolyn, Chris, Maggie, Joe and the others

Post by: Uncle Roger on April 15, 2018, 10:37:30 PM: I enjoyed the other time periods to an extent, except 1840 which I hated then and still do. I loved the bits and pieces of the main time period that they would show us during 1897 and PT1970.
