I said I had DSL, not ESP.
No, I suppose that's my department.
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.

Hee hee, you're incorrigible!
From what I hear, Verizon does have it's share of problems too!!
(I have DSL, but shhh, don't let MB hear that. )
Is the forum crawling along for anybody else? I can't get anywhere on here without waiting forever for the pages to load. Nothing else is moving slowly, just the board.
By the way, the same thing happened again last night at about the same time.
Nov. 30 - around 3 a.m. Eastern - wouldn't come up at all. I tried again a little later and the same thing. I checked the times of the posts when I got in today, and it looks like there were no posts between about 1 a.m. and more "regular" morning times.
Just a quick note to everyone who e-mailed inquiries last night:
We always appreciate your concern and interest. And rest assured that if there ever was a serious problem, you'd be the first to know because we'd send out an e-mail to all our registered members. But the simple fact is that from time to time it's inevitable that the forum will be down when our host does routine maintenance on its server. Unfortunately, unlike the times when I take the forum offline to do work on it, I can't put up a page that says the forum is down temporarily and to try again later. But the site will come back when the maintenance is finished, so there's really no need to worry.
Just remember - patience is a virtue. And in this case, though it isn't always easy, Midnite and I have to be patient too.
I was trying to access http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scifi-darkshadows and a "DULL DNS ERROR" appears instead. I can't access the website.
Well, here it is... the final chapter of DARK SHADOWS: THE LABYRINTH OF SOULS.
And if none of the people who keep this forum up and running are going to be there.....who would there be to organize a gathering for the Forum members?.....and if we won't have some way of catching up with one another, how many members will decide not to go?
I can't imagine how I'd be able to make it with my kids starting new schools the weeks before and after. I won't even get into how I feel about flying to the other coast on a holiday weekend cuz that would undoubtedly trigger one of the forum's censored words.
I also downloaded the RegClean program.
Would you recommend the RAMBooster program and the Clean System Directory programs as well?
But -- if it's my system, wouldn't it happen all the time?
if ... the system hasn't been reset for awhile, things get bogged down. I think the memory gets full of crap 'cause we don't have the proper memory management program installed.
I just keep running into threads that won't open for me, on the general discussion board and now Robin's Crypt.
