No, I believe it was Alexis's body that got burned up.  And later,
the autopsy on the corpse of the supposed Alexis proved that it was Angelique's body, enabling everybody to live happily ever after, or something.
Gotcha.  It's lines like the one in this ep's voiceover (not to mention the closing credits that continue to identify the character as Alexis) that confused me as to whether Angelique drained Alexis' body or entered it.

What am I doing?   Apparently I did it at least twice since you said "again"

MT, the topic asks you to complete the phrase.  I believe "again" refers to the instance in which you answered:

Thanks MB.  I was bound to do that someday.

Different Collinwood view during VO...  it may have just been a reversed, enlarged version of the usual image, but it's welcome.   I think we've all been experiencing VO fatigue, from seeing the same image endlessly.

I hear you, but because they've shown that slide so often (I'm pretty sure it was even in the v.o. for the previous ep), you'd think they would have noticed that the lighted windows were on the wrong side of the house.

Barnabas to Liz and Angelexis:  "It will be best if both of you left the room. We don't need hysterics."
Oh shut it.

Cyrus (about summoning Maggie from New York when he believes Quentin's death is imminent):  "I'm afraid that would be a rather fruitful gesture."
That's what I heard, anyway, though I'm sure he meant to say futile.  Or fruitless.

I'm guessing it was no accident that Hoffman referred a couple of times to the current Mrs. Collins as "Maggie Evans."

Does Angelique feel she must have Quentin because he's much harder for her to predict or control than all the other men in her life?  Because that's how she described him, and if it's her motivation, then that's just whacked.

"...has returned in the body of Alexis…” Whoops blooper there.

But she did come to Collinwood in Alexis' body, no?

Quote
Once again another blooper in this episode as B is visible in the mirror in A's room.

Thanks, T, I missed that!

Welcome, VictoriaWintersCollins.  [wavey]  Happy watching!

You cannot get around copyright just because you are not making a profit.  There are definitions of fair use on the internet, but to sum it up very briefly, its purposes are limited to criticism, commentary, news reporting, scholarship, teaching, or research.

Sometimes a company will look the other way, and Robot Quentin's mention of an "agreement" made with Paramount may be a case of that.  MPI is an example of one that does not look the other way when they have knowledge of copyright infringement of their DVDs.  I suspect that DS fandom might be heading in that direction, possibly due to pre-production of the movie-- this is the first year, AFAIK, in which a clause concerning copyrighted material was added to the agreement for dealer's tables, and "suits" were seen checking out the room.  (Though I still noticed photos being sold that I believed to be of questionable origin, but that's me.)  To quote Dylan, I feel a change comin'.

Back to the topic:  The subject is getting repetitious, so please post only if you have something new to add.  Thanks!

Joe, I'm surprised that this surprised you.  As mentioned in Reply #30, the attorney is Frid's handler and like most DS Fest handlers, is also a fan.  The name even appears in the Forum's memberslist.

Did you know that Ian Somerhalder, voted EW's Sexiest Beast by fans this past summer and starring in tonight's Season 2 premiere of Vampire Diaries, is a DS fan?  If not, his appearance on It's On With Alexa Chung that aired on MTV a year ago yesterday, will set you straight.

After the clip from Vampire Diaries, Somerhalder was asked by interviewer Alexa Chung, "Who is the best vampire ever besides Count Chocula?"
Ian:  "Probably, I would say if we would go back to Dark Shadows."
Alexa (dismissively):  "Yeah, really?"
Ian:  "Oh yeah, well it's very old. That's from the 60s, sorry. Yeah, there won't be references that any of us really remember."
Alexa (rushing to next question):  "Why don't..."
Ian:  "Barnabas Collins."
Alexa:  "Much less me. I was probably hiding in England, so..."

I don't get why he felt the need to apologize to that twit, who is too young to have been around in the 60s, btw.  No wonder her show was canceled.

Revealed yesterday by Forbes Magazine:  Hollywood's Highest-Paid Actors
From Johnny Depp to Ben Stiller, the stars who command a couple more zeroes than everyone else in Tinseltown.

Depp earned $75 million between June '09 and June '10 and Alice made him the only actor to have starred in two $1 billion movies.

This links to another topic that mentions his Maryland appearance:
Upcoming Roy Thinnes appearance

Sorry for beating a dead horse (I posted a similar comment in the above topic after Rebecca Staab was added to the guest list for the 2010 Spring Hollywood Collectors Show), but what a shame that Thinnes will be at the Burbank Marriott for the next HCS yet did not attend the recent Fest.
