Well, this is certainly an entertaining thread!  A shrine to the Briscoe-licious one in all his shirtless glory!

A while back, I posted my thoughts on an alternative version of DS starring Grayson Hall, Carol Channing, and Lovelady Powell as the divalicious Hoffman sisters (Julia, Margo, and Portia).  Steve suggested naming it SEQUINED SHADOWS and including much romantic intrigue among the various Collinsport hunks.  Seeing those vidcaps inspired thoughts of a new element of SS:  playing up Collinsport as a beach resort town, where all the men surf, play volleyball, and lounge in their bathing suits.

You know, if DC is looking for a fresh approach for a new DS series, he need look no further than this board!  <lol>  Maybe he could strike a deal with Showtime to air it after QUEER AS FOLK.

Regards,

John

John,  WHAT A FABULOUS IDEA!!! Queer as Shadows--now THERE's a show for the new millennium.

Let's see, for the pilot episode we could start with a 3 way between Joe, Frank Garner, and Buzz Hackett, cutting away to Chris drowning his sorrows at the Blue Whale and being heavily cruised by Harry, while young drifter Willie Loomis is about to receive a very special initiation as he heads with his tools towards that mysterious mausoleum at Eagle Hill Cemetery ...

So, what you're telling me is that the state of Quentin's clothing in the above photograph is the result of a visit to Collinwood by the Psychos for Selby???

;D Steve, when the "psychos for Selby" say they want a piece of their man, it aint just a figure of speech. ;)

Now you both know that if the Psychos for Selby ever got ahold of Quentin, he wouldn't be left with his clothes in taters - he'd be stark naked (not to mention, he'd probably have a HUGE smile on his face)! [wink2]

I believe you are the "psychic" one MB.  ;)

Connie you have a very creative, and might I add , "demented " mind. Two qualities I very much admire.  ; I believe you and I could need to join forces. ;)

Don't thank ME.  Bob's the one who said you could be a member.
I don't know anything about Psychos For Selby.
BUT...I bet I could make a pretty educated guess as to who some of the members are.  LOL

Bad enough actors have to look like Gods....can someone explain to me why it's necessary for singers and musicians to be attractive?  What the hell does looking like Helen of Troy have to do with Rock and Roll?

So true - pop music was so much richer and exciting when singers could be ugly -
