([pointing-up]  Though he was for some reason! He must have made a HUGE impression on some when he starred in Maya. I never watched it, so I have no idea what his appeal might have been... But oddly enough, I see where the show is actually available on DVD, so if he still has fans, they must be very happy.)

I think that Maya only ran for 13 weeks before it was cancelled because of low ratings. They really tried to prolong his 15 minutes of fame with guest appearances and a record album. According to Wikipedia, he continued working in films into the 1980's but never equalled this brief moment in the sun.
