So according to the VO, everyone named Collins will have to go (from the house)... so Mrs. Johnson can stay? She'll be relieved to hear that. David's got to go, though. Carolyn has Collins as her middle name, out the door with you... Maggie will be good company for Q on those long lonely nights, screaming away...
Liz now believes. That's one of the last layers of danger, when awareness of the supernatural emergency even pentrates to the real-world characters. Stokes, Julia, and Liz have a meeting. Chris is suddenly an actual caretaker, not just someone living in the old caretaker's cottage, and they've backed up this fact in time a little bit, as if we should have known already. Julia says "Yup!" to Chris, I forget why. Bet that wasn't scripted. Same when she's said "Oh God" once or twice...
Quentin, only his hand visible, sneaks up on Liz to stab her with her letter opener. Stokes stops him. Isn't this the last straw, where you gather everyone that moment and take them to a hotel?
Is Ned staying in Jeff's old Collinsport Inn room? Maybe he went there to register, and they just handed him his key and said "Nice to have you back Mr. Clark, everything's right where you left it, except for the body in the closet, of course!" Ned says Sabrina can't hear. I think R Davis realizes and corrects this mistake later, saying "Did I say she can't hear? She can hear alright!" or something.
