All in all, after reading most of the accounts of the Halloween party, I'm not too jealous that I didn't attend.  Would love to have seen Kathryn and Lara dressed up, though----and Selby too, but saw it in the photos you' all took.  Which were great.  Thanks for sharing.  Too bad a lot of the celebrities didn't show up, that's kind of friggen' ridiculous, with so much hype.   Probably only Chris had an excuse with the fires, of course.  The rest I don't know, probably just couldn't be bothered, which is sad.  Well, the important ones were there anyway, Kathryn, Lara, David Selby, Karen Black, Barbara Steele, and the rest.  Would love to see more of your pictures of the event.   And, hope we have a festival to go to next summer in California.

i finished editing my video footage of the event. it runs apx. 30minutes. i can combine this with previous videos from vista theatre, H.O.D.S and N.O.D.S. celebrations to make a 60minute vhs or dvd. anyone interested in a copy can email me for details. JTVIDEO@WEBTV.NET
I have another idea on how to share this video with everyone. i could show it on my webcam thru yahoo messenger! u would need to install yahoo mesenger on ur computer if u dont have it already at www.yahoo.com   it is free. u may or may not need a yahoo account and email address but that is free too. then u would need to add me to ur buddy list. my yahoo address is  jayteevideo@yahoo.com  do not add my webtv address and this will not work with webtv either. u do not have to have ur own webcam to view my webcam. then we will have to figure out a day and time when most people can view. for me weekends are best. i work from 4pm to 1230am pacific time, monday thru friday so those times wont work for me. so i will check later today to see how many of u added me to ur bud list and take it from there. it should be fun and maybe if this works out i could show other vintage convention footage that i have shot. i have footage dating from 1982!

Sorry that these aren't the greatest.  The smoke didn't help with photographing Selby's performance.

Looks like fun.  How soon til they announce where next summer's fest will be? (If there is one.) Does it tend to alternate coasts, or is there a chance it will be in NY again...?

You didn't mention this Midnite, so I will.

In the pic of Cobert being applauded, the fan directly in front of the camera, turned towards Mr. Cobert is none other than our own ProfStokes, and she is wearing---THE AFGHAN!  [dancing_bones]

I just started listening to the CD of Cobert music that we were all given, and it is very good. That man really writes wonderful stuff. [hall2_cheesy]
