Hello everyone, I don't think I've posted here since 1795 but I thought of this board when I saw this:

Sorry if this has already been discussed.

My wife and kids already think I have issues so when I use to tape DS off of Sci-fi and watch it at night it never even fazed them. ;D

When Petofi shows up things seriously slide

I couldn't disagree more. Petofi is one of the greatest, most erudite characters/villians DS ever created - and Thayer David plays him to perfection.  (IMG)
I can't even begin to imagine 1897 without him.

Petofi is also my favorite in 1897.  My favorite performance from 1897 has to be David Henesy as Jameson, possessed by Petofi.

Bar Harbor (not mentioned on the show) is in Hancock County on Frenchman's Bay.  Haven't been there but would love to because I understand the area is spectacular.  Augusta and Portland are also shown.  Rockport is between Bar Harbor and Portland.  The rest is up to your imagination.

According to Shadows on the Wall, Collinsport is located "in Hancock County, not far from Frenchman's Bay."  In an early episode (#5), we learn that Bangor (the source of Vicki's checks) is 50 miles from Collinsport.

Amazingly, it's the only place in Hancock County where it doesn't snow.

You can click on a link and instead of it opening in a new window a "tab" of the previous window and a "tab" of the new window appear at the top of the browser but each page shares the same window.  You can toggle between "tabs" by clicking on the one you want to see.  You can have numerous "tabs" open at the same time.

Yeah, I wonder which guy would buy the first round of drinks?

I'm sure it would be Sgt. Lewis.

Having never seen the first episode I cannot vote for it.  My favorite has to be when Barnabas meets the Collins family of 1967.
