Even though Elementary dipped last night as far as its demo goes, it still managed to hold the #1 position in its time period, besting #2 by 700,000 viewers in the Fast Overnights...

When the schedule for next season comes out next week, it will be quite interesting to see if CBS keeps the show on Sundays, if they move it back to Thurdays, or if they move it somewhere else...

I would have preferred another night for the same reason that you don't like Sundays: never knowing how long it might be delayed or if it'll even be on when football or golf run long. But I suppose CBS' thinking is that it does as well on Sundays as it did on Thursdays, and considering they've often had problems with Sundays at 10et/9ct, Elementary seems like a good fit for them there.
