I like how the article referred to "adjusted" and "unadjusted" takes at the box office, meaning taking inflation into consideration.  Many people, for example, think such movies as Titanic and Avatar were among the #1 of box office bonanzas.  But when adjusted for inflation, the most profitable money maker of all time remains Gone With the Wind.  Nothing since has come as close in people seeing it and the money it raked in.  When I saw HoDS, price of admission was 35 cents.  With the dollar bill my mom gave me, I got in (and it was a double-feature, the other a western no one cared about, a short documentary and a cartoon and don't forget the previews), popcorn, a soda and a box of candy.  And I had to bring home the change.
