"...that back in the year 1868..." Capt Lucifer Collins tried to pay his workers in money he himself printed and called Collins Currency...his plan did not work and he was later taken out to sea and dumped in the drink!

...back in the year 1868, Homer Collins had thrown his new drinking buddy, presidential candidate Ulysses S. Grant, off of Widows Hill to see if he could swim, and substituted an impostor when, tragically, it turned out Grant couldn't.
