My favorite has to be Roger's "incestors" flub--especially given the puritanical bent of tv at the time!

Since I recently watched the first six DVD's I just heard this line, even my stoic hubby cracked up....

Carolyn's theme *when she was dating Buzz could be:

Out Tonight

Whats the time?
Well it's gotta be close to midnight
My body's talking to me
It say,'Time for danger'

It says 'I wanna commit a crime
Wanna be the cause of a fight
Wanna put on a tight skirt and flirt
With a stranger'

I've had a knack from way back
At breaking the rules once I learn the
Games
Get-up life's too quick

I know someplace sick
Where this chick'll dance it the flames
We don't need any money
I always get in for free
You can get in too
If you get in with me

Let's go out tonight
I have to go out tonight
You wanna play?
Let's run away
We wont be back
Before it's Christmas Day
Take me out tonight (meow)

When I get a wink from the doorman
Do you know how lucky you'll be?
That your on line with the feline of
Avenue B

Let's go out tonight
I have to go out tonight
You wanna prowl
Be my night owl?
Well take my hand we're gonna howl
Out tonight

In the evening I must roam
Can't sleep in the city of neon and chrome
Feels to damn much like like home
When the spanish babies cry

So let's find a bar
So dark we forget who we are
And all the scares from the
Nevers and maybes die

Let's go out tonight
Have to go out tonight
You're sweet
Wanna hit the street?
Wanna wail at the moon like a cat in
Heat?
Just take me out tonight

Please take me out tonight
Don't forsake me - out tonight
I'll let you make me - out tonight
Tonight - tonight - tonight

a bit tongue in cheek , how about Quentin and anyone....

Telephone Line  (by ELO)

Hello--how are you
Have you been alright, through all those lonely nights,
That's what I'd say, I'd tell you everything,
If you'd pick up that telephone.

Hey--how you feelin'
Are you still the same
Don't you realize the things we did were all for real not a dream,
I just can't believe
They've all faded out of view.

I look into the sky
(The love you need ain't gonna see you through.)
And I wonder why
(The little things are finally coming true.)

[CHORUS]
Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight
Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight

O.K. so no--one's answering,
Well can't you just let it ring a little longer
I'll just sit tight, through the shadows of the night
Let it ring for evermore.

[CHORUS -- repeat]

Love that song choice Widow's Wail! It does fit them perfectly! Though I'm sure Josette has done more crying than Barnabas. Think of all the times her crying spirit has appeared to save him! After all those years she still loves and cares for him.

Point well taken,  I should have explained after all. LOL
I was doing that thing we all do with lyrics -visualizing something no one sees but us.

I 'see' Barnabus standing on Widows Hills after walking "the long and winding road" lamenting his long lost Josette.........("the wild windy nights") the wind (the widow's wail)  singing with him.....she "left him standing there" when she jumped....and he is begging her to return ("don't leave me standing here") etc....

I think 'Cold Hearted Snake' is just perfect!!

Interesting idea.
How about this song, Barnabas to Josette? I think the lyrics speak for themselves

The Long and Winding Road

The long and winding road
that leads to your door
will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me her
Lead me to you door

The wild and windy night
that the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
let me know the way

Many times I've been alone
and many times I've cried
Any way you'll never know
the many ways I've tried

But still they lead me back
to the long winding road
You left me standing here
a long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
lead me to your door

But still they lead me back
to the long winding road
You left me standing here
a long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
lead me to your door
Yeah, yeah, yea

And from what I heard back in the day, Adrian Paul was slated to play Quentin.

Adrian Paul could play a lamp post and I'd watch. I vaguely remember AP gave interview in which he stated he would have played Quentin had the series not been axed. As a fan from his Highlander days there is no doubt in my mind he would have pulled off Quentin well.

Thank you for so many welcomes. I am afraid as a newbie I have been overwhelmed by TMI (too much information).

Finding out about the passing of Craig Hamrick was very sad to read here, I had only just discovered his web site - and the debacle with SG is, simply put, shocking. I had regarded SG a lot higher than I do now.

It is very difficult to jump into a board as established as this one,  and it seems I could not have picked a more upsetting time for so many of you.

So, again thank you all for taking the time to welcome me.

Hello Everyone,
I joined a few days ago and have been prowling about trying to find my way around. I am really impressed with all I have seen, and in just a few days have learned many new things about DS. I am not sure what I can contribute - just wanted you all to know I was lurking in the shadows..... [2Bats]
