Title: Santa Claus is coming to town/to Collinsport
Post by: TNickey2003 on November 27, 2006, 03:39:57 AM
Another impossibly long poll (!), probably with a good handful of choices that should have been included.  With Shadow-y Yuletide greetings to all.

Definitely RTBruno - or Cheap, Insufferable Pig #2, as I like to refer to him. He's was much worse than his PT counterpart!  :o

I definitely think the good Reverend Gregory Trask would be the number #1 on Santa's naughty list and find many lumps of coal in his stocking....before Santa gives him a good hard smack over the head with it! ;D

Also Jason McGuire, Nathan Forbes, Gabriel Collins, Aristede, Bruno, Gerard Stiles and the other two Trasks would find themselves permanently excluded from Santa's good little boys list in Collinsport. Just about all of these guys were totally unrepentent to their wicked ways to the end.

I feel Santa wouldn't include Angelique, Laura, Nicholas Blair or Petofi  on the naughty list since they all have powers to get whatever they want so they don't need him. ;D

Angelique would pout.  Laura would sic the Great God Ra - or, even worse, Dirk Wilkins - on Santa.  Nicholas would persuade an elf to turn traitor.  I can't say about Petofi; haven't seen him in a while.

If there's any justice in the world, David and Amy would be whining and pouting all Christmas day.

I hope Santa would cut Gerard Stiles some slack.  Sure, he had a shady past, but was he any greedier or more murderous under that other name than Quentin was pre-curse?  It doesn't seem fair to punish Gerard for what happened while
Judah was in charge,
and the real Gerard did
apologize as he lay dying.
LOL, Willie!

I think Santa would and should cut both those kids some slack, after all both of them had gone through some very sad and difficult times.
David had a phoenix for a mother who wanted to burn him up and a father who was cold and indifferent to him (up until Laura came and went). Not to mention the kid had a witch for a stepmother who rendered him mute and inflicted the dream curse on him.  And then he was possessed by the spirits of Quentin and then Gerard...

Amy lost her parents, her older brother Tom and her other brother Chris didn't seem to want to have anything to do with her at first. Is it any wonder she ended up falling to pieces and wound up at Windcliff? The poor little girl really needed some stability in her life badly.
So naturally they sent her to live at Collinwood!  LOLLOL!  ;)

Are you implying that Collinwood is a less than stable environment? You mean everyone doesn't live in a house infested with or visited by almost all manner of supernatural beings as well as an occasional blackmailer, sexist thug and/or hypocritical reverend?   [hall2_grin]

Oh, Angelique would most definitely pout if she sang to "Santa Baby" and he didn't slip her Barnabas under the tree tonight!

And not only would she pout, but she'd use her house of cards to start a fire at the North Pole, melt all the snow, and then sick Rev. Trask on him calling Santa a witch or warlock, because everyone know's that no God-given man could have run around the entire world in ONE night.

It just occured to me that Christmas trees and Christmas decorations are another one of those things not seen on DS.  Could it be because so many of DS' s characters are on Santa's you-know-what list,  discouraging Santa from coming to Collinsport?

The only one that I'd have to disagree with on that list is Jason. Santa can't afford to not bring him a nice gift. Jason's the only one who knows why Mrs. Claus hasn't been seen around lately...

You got a point.... Santa could give Jason a nice hard whack in the head with a poker!  [santa_grin]
