Well, if looks could kill Barnabas would be guilty of murdering Adam. How many other times on DARK SHADOWS did characters display their inner hostile thoughts by an expression and not an action? Share those moments...

Angelique is an obvious choice. She wears that "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" look almost perpetually. We first saw it in her very first episode, in 1795, where Barnabas rejects her attempts to rekindle and/or continue their affair.

Julia is another one famous for her looks. She has a pained expression of disappointment and rejection whenever Barnabas speaks about his love for Vicki.

I remember when I... Sarah was angry with Dr. Hoffman for killing her friend DR. Woodard...  the look she gave Julia was not very friendly at all.

There was a look that 'Kitten' gave Roger once when they were talking about her and Buzz that gave me the shivers!  

[and I'll bet you married types would know what I mean by 'The Look' from 'she who must be obeyed'!]

Shouldn't the Mugging Montagenist feel a little 'stirring' from this thread???????????

There were several instances of Nicholas Blair's ever-present, slick smile turning into a vicious look when others backs were turned.  
Example: The incident when Vicki repeatedly turned down Blair's offer to "restore" Angelique's painting. >:(

There was the wonderful warning look that Liz gave Matthew when he was about to strangle her.  My favorite 'look' though has to be Nathan Forbes's when Daniel told him what Millicent did with her money.  That glare of outrage was enough to freeze water...

Who can forget the look on ole Mister Joshua's face when Naomi told him that their son, Barnabas was going to marry Angelique?!! I can still hear him shouting, "What!!! you mean that servant girl??!!" [argue]      At that point he looked as if he could murder anybody!! [pissd]

Hmm...now that you mention it, I didn't really feel a 'stirring' oddly enough.  LOL

After Gerard and Daphne were married, and they were upstairs, and he pulled down the covers to the bed, and was like "get in" the look she gave him was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNIE! Like "no way in hell even if you have me under a spell will i EVER sleep with you!" type look ..... SO FUNNIE! ^_^! Yesssss go Daphne! ^_^!!
