I see tomorrow (Fri) on TCM @ 11:15a.m., there is a movie titled "Fearless Vampire". It states its a Roman Polanski spoof of horror films. Interesting little side note, one of the characters names is Magda. The film was released in 1967, so you have to wonder if someone was watching.... [hall2_wink]

"It's a film I made in Belgium, in BELGIUM. Its an arty vampire. I was NUDE." To which Dennis replied, "Who would wanna see THAT?"  Those two were always magic together.

OMG...Michael that is so funny...'arty vampire.....nude'...lolol...thanks for passing that on.

Keeping "color" thread accessible..... ;)

Raineypark always has 'vunderbar' ideas!!

(I had forgotten about khaki...and Rainey, I still frequently use indianred, mostly because I never can remember other specific color names!!)

I remember that quote from Barnabas,  Barnabas goes to the old house...I think he even stares at Josette's portrait but can't remember entirely.

Ooooh, so Barnabas doesn't actually say it to Josette, but to her portrait?? Thanks Stefan [hall2_wink]

When Barnabas first entered the old house he asked Josette why she hadn't protected him, after all he was a Collins, They must not have had the idea to make her his love interest yet.

Misa....huh?? I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. Could you please elaborate?

Thanks,

Patti

Now, there's been alot of talk about J. Frid not wanting to be associated with DS, because of the type-casting it cost him.

I didn't watch Buffy, Charmed or Angel during their orig. runs, but now I'm watching and TYPECAST-O-RAMA!! Man...just today, I saw 'Principal Snyder' on Charmed, I've seen (sorry, I don't know the character's name), tall, gorgeous black woman, who was on Angel (I saw an article she's on some other Josh Whedon show), I saw 'Ben' of Buffy on Charmed, and so on and so on.

Here's the thing....most of the 'supernatural' shows of DS's era were going off air at approx. same time as DS (I believe Bewitched was off in 1971 and Jeannie same time).

Do you think if DS had preceded these other shows that some of our alumnis would have at least had cameos or small bits on the other shows?

Thanks,

Patti

And wasn't it fun to see Josette as a gold digger?

I was thinking the same thing Misa. I wish they could have expounded on this facet of Kitty too.

For me, Petofi was T H E funnest part of DS; I really couldn't stand the Beth/Quentin/Jenny/Angelique issue(s). It also would've been fun to watch additional identify crises, ie Edward and Charity on other characters. Hmm...Barnabas could fancy himself a butterfly...
