I know Chris Pennock will be playing Rev. Shannon in an upcoming production at the Actors' Studio in Hollywood. He announced this at the Festival.
Yikes -- Work and life get crazy for a few days and now I am so far behind! Thanks Professor -- once you said it I remembered him saying that at the Fest (and wanted to smack myself in the head, cause I KNEW there was something tickling at the back of my mind!)
Heh, heh. You mean Selby, of course. He had Burton's role in L.A.
Yup, that one stuck in my mind probably cause I had done the play/author cross reference so recently. But what really got me going on this was that "Iguana" tends to be one of those plays that I see turn up pretty regulary when I get interested in an actor's work. Found it a pretty consistant pattern with the Trek actors, for example. That and Hedda Gabler and Measure for Measure seem to be the givens.
Can you get your mind around Marie Wallace playing the role in a 1970s production in Minnesota?.
Hmm. Marie Wallace I could see... but not Bette Davis. Oh, and whoever asked the name of the male character played by Selby and to be played by Pennock, its Reverend Shannon (he's a defrocked priest).
