I chose the zombies trashing RT Collinwood.  (I wish we could've seen how Barnabas got away from them, but I digress.  :P)  The deaths of PT characters, destruction of PT property, etc. doesn't have the same impact for me because they're not "our" beloved characters or things.  What happens in PT stays in PT.   ;D

I agree with Midnite. It looks as if the only people that could have possibly died in the PT fire were
Timothy, Roxanne, and Maggie, though I'm not sure.
I'd have to double check on that though. I haven't seen that episode in a long time. XD
There's also the fact that most of "our" characters, although with their PT personalities, are DEAD by the time the fire comes. I'd consider the main characters to be Willie, Carolyn, Elizabeth, and Roger. Willie jumped from the tower room, as I can remember, and Roger killed Carolyn and Elizabeth, then was later killed by Angelique.
It's just not the same as the destruction in RT for me.

We're told an the opening voiceover for Ep #1061 that
Timothy Stokes died in the fire. However, it seems like everyone else (well, the other three people who are left alive) survived. Maggie and Quentin had already left Collinwood before the fire. And in the first episode set back in 1970RT (Ep #1071) Quentin explains to Liz that he saw a woman in PT's burned Angelique's room who was calling to Barnabas - and that was most likely Roxanne.
I agree.  The PT characters, while fun, didn't hold the same importance for me as the RT characters did.

With regards to Barnabas escaping the zombies, I figure he must have just opened up a vampiric can of whoop-ass on those zombies' behinds! :)  Either that or he turned into a bat or disappeared.

Love all your ideas, especially the first one!  :D

Hell, this whole thread is a spoiler....
I thought that Roxanne's presence in PT Angelique's burning room basically guaranteed that she wasn't getting out alive.   I thought the only way out was the door to RT.   BC is grieving immediately after arriving in 1995.   But time is money, or something, and before you know it, he's moved on to other things.  After all, it had been 25 years...
