Whatever happened to Ned Stuart?

Rewatching the Leviathan story, he's nowhere to be seen. Where did he go? He was so dang protective of Sabrina before the 1897 storyline then he just disappeared into thin air....

Any one have any ideas what happened to the esteemed  Mr. Stuart?

Could he have been a victim of a werewolf......maybe he got gobbled up, bones and all....the way he got aggressive with Sabrina I have a feeling she wouldn't miss him too much.

I made this comment somewhere in the past that between Carolyn and someone else, they are really trying to give Liz Taylor a run for her money. Anyone care to list Liz's full name just for kicks and giggles?

I didn't catch Return to Collinwood, but [spoiler]Carolyn married Ned Stuart?!! Whose brilliant idea was that....NOT!  Especially considering she was very suspicious of Ned when he came to Collinwood posing as an "old friend" of Chris. Pairing her with Ned just makes no sense to me. And frankly I can't see any romantic chemistry between Nancy Barrett and Roger Davis regardless of who they were playing.

Why they didn't have her marry Tony Peterson....would have made a heck of a lot more sense.[/spoiler]

Okay, first off, Return to Collinwood is NOT canon, period.  It was just some, IMHO, stupid little drama that Jamison Selby cooked up and it was brutally bad, again, IMHO.

I can't see any romantic chemistry between Nancy Barrett and Roger Davis.

ITA w/this!  Davis didn't have chemistry w/anyone I didn't think.

Okay, first off, Return to Collinwood is NOT canon, period.  It was just some, IMHO, stupid little drama that Jamison Selby cooked up and it was brutally bad, again, IMHO.

You have to bear in mind that he had to concoct a storyline that would use all of the actors who attended that year's Festival. That also meant he was stuck with whatever present-day characters were still available for those actors to play. He had a lot of bases to cover, and he had to deal with some last minute substitutions. Frankly, I wouldn't have touched that task with a 10-foot pole, but, as the Big Finish folks acknowledge on their site for their DS audios, the fact that he decided to take a stab at it was an important step in the creation of the new audio drama series.

That's the same reason why reunion episodes of television shows are wholly unsatisfying. So many nods have to be made in so many different directions incorporating so many characters that it's practically impossible to pull it off. In trying to cover all the bases, you wind up producing something that doesn't really resemble an original episode.

You know what's funny about that blooper?  The look on Jonathan's face, 'cause you KNOW he's thinking, "Oh shit, did *I* blow it, or did he?"    My favorite blooper is the Bathia Mapes/"Then go to the....!" blooper.

Oddly enough, I saw that blooper (the "What do I tell them?" one, not the Bathia Mapes one) the other day, and while I fully understand that it's a blooper, it didn't seem like a blooper to me.  It seemed more like Dirk coping with Barnabas in his "Do 6 impossible things before breakfast and don't bother me with the details" mode.
