Double Dutch Bus
« on: February 23, 2005, 02:27:55 AM »
Hello Out There!
It's time for that once a year excursion to Boston! Who would come along for the ride and what would people bring?
Also, there are two full bathrooms, bunkbeds, loud radio, and refridgorator!

Good Night and Sleep Tight!

Actually, they went more than once a year to Boston (esp. Roger, Burke & Liz).

Okay, I admit it - I'm a reetard  ::) - what is the Double Dutch Bus?

Yo, dvlvan26!  :D

I assume it refers to the song of that name heard in all the dance clubs in the early 80s.

I had assumed 'double-decker' bus.

I googled double dutch bus; was it a song? (Although, if you look at buses, there's a link for sexy bus singles...I was good, I didn't put the link here >:D ).

I don't know too much about the bus thing, but I do know if they took a trip to Boston a must would have been Filene's basement.  We didnt' hit the one in Boston much but the one in Worcester was the place to pick up clothes at a good price.  I am sure David was just as obnoxious as my brother and myself and hid in the clothes racks on poor Roger.  They wonder wny parents drink.

I used to pull that same stunt on my mom. And I wonder why she hated shopping for clothes with me when I was a kid.  [lghy]

I've been on the other side of that stunt: my daughter hid in a circular rack once when she was 4 years old. Reducing her Mother to hysterics turned out to be less amusing than she anticipated... ::).

My bag is packed, and I'm about to go wait on the sidewalk, just as soon as you tell me when you're coming by Chicago.
