Actually, it's more than just speculation that Dameon and Ang had had an affair. Ang admits as much in Ep #1006 and it's explained that
she got Trask and Bruno to take care of him for her because he was becoming too persistent in his, uh, affections.
Well I had to go plug in my DVD and watch this and sure enough! I think part of the reason this may have got by me is that this is one of the kinescope episodes and along with being a tad bit blurry it's also a bit fuzzy sounding. I listened to it more carefully. Poor Dameon. Thanks MB.

even when i was watching the dameon edwards subplot i felt that it was just mid-storyline filler while most of the "majors" were doing the movie.

it didn't interest me in the least and i forgot it as soon as it was over.as i recall it didn't really effect the parallel-time storyline as a whole.

even now i'm drawing a complete blank on the details.

Read my first post about this, I did remember most of it and MB supplied the detail I was missing about the motive for the murder. I agree it was a rather boring little subplot, and had nothing much to do with the overall story.

I thought there were a couple of amusing scenes in Dameon's storyette.  The idea of someone roaming the halls of Collinwood for all eternity trapped in an Ohrbach's leisure suit is, in and of itself, pretty damn funny.  I also found it amusing that Trask and Bruno basically had a meltdown once they learned Dameon had returned.

I recall that one of those episodes, a black and white filmed kinescope, was missing its soundtrack.  Does anybody know whether MPI was able to restore the sound on the DVD release of that show?

cheers, G.

It seems more of a yellow - or perhaps a yellow-orange.

Either way, it's classic '70s!  :D

Oh yea, it's most definitely yellow. Now, let's have his ghost pop up in a remake of DS to be the butt of all the jokes. I can just hear it now:

Townsperson: Oh, you're goin' ta Collinwood? Ain't that the place with the funny lookin' ghost strollin' around in the yella leisure suit?

It was a color and material not found in nature.    Two or three years before the leisure suit fad erupted though for what it's worth.    Not something one should be proud to be on the cusp of, however.

There was a cool, underground side to the 70s, the early 70s anyway.  This represented the buffoonish, mainstream 70s.

The early 70's were my college years.....and I'd go back for a visit in a heartbeat. ;)
