Title: Episode #1103
Post by: CTP/FITBs on November 13, 2010, 08:08:54 PM
[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

 [naughty]

Fill in the blank:
Julia - "Keep looking at the center of the light, Daphne - keep looking at the center of the light!"
Quentin - "Are you sure she'll ________ once you have her completely under?!"

 [pointing-up]  Very clever!!  [lol2]  [thumbleft]

(And I loved Rachel Roberts in everything she ever did. And I was lucky enough to see her on stage a few times...)

Thanks, MB!

And how fortunate that you were able to see Rachel Roberts on stage! I'm sure that she was fantastic.

I was fortunate enough to see Katharine Hepburn in A Matter of Gravity at the Schubert Theatre in New Haven when I was in college. I couldn't see much. I was sitting in the second balcony which was about 3 feet from the ceiling. Hepburn, unsurprisingly, was quite good. As was the male ingenue, played by a then unknown Christopher Reeve. The play itself was pretentious and incoherent.

(One of my experiences with Roberts also included a then basically unknown Richard Gere parading around stage half-naked. Apparently good practice for when he'd be totally naked in more than one of his films!!  [a1f5])

([pointing-up]  He certainly got more than a bit of attention from the audience and the press. Maybe that's what sent him in the direction his early career took!!  [b003])
