I have to go with Kathryn Leigh Scott, both then and now. [ghost_grin]
Lara Parker is a very close second. Those ladies were and still are two of the most beautiful women in movies or TV. Ever!

Alexandra Moltke is my favorite overall I think. Lara Parker (especially in the 200 year old woman costume [ghost_wink]) and Kate Jackson are tied for second. Also Joan Bennett was very beautiful especially for a sixty year old woman

Kathryn Leigh Scott would be number one. I had the biggest girl crush on Maggie Evans when I was a kid.
Maggie and Barnabas, the loves of my young life.
Lara Parker and Eve Wallace were both pretty sexy. Scary, but sexy.
So, I think I've made like nine posts here, and in them I've talked about underpants and sexy women.

My next picks would probably be Alexandra Moltke and Joan Bennett.

As another woman, I'll also go with most beautiful rather than hot.
Most of the women on the show were pretty beautiful, but Lara Parker would be on the top of the list IMO. Heck, I think she even looked good with that Swiss look she was sporting during the 1840 storyline.

Joan Bennet was the classic beauty on the show. In the era of the 60's I think Nancy would have been the "hottest". She has the best hair on the show for sure.
Grayson Hall had an unusual beauty about her which is really my favorite type of beauty. She did not look like anyone else but like Joan Bennet there was a aura of grace that surrounded both of them.

If you haven't seen any photos of the beauitful Joan Bennett from when she was a young lady check out my fest countdown clock over at "Calendar Events / Announcements '08 II". I just updated it with new photos and included one of Joan from "Scarlett Street". In her day she was stunning.

I'd vote for Lara Parker, she's really pretty and sexy and beautiful. But so many women on the show were hot. Nancy Barrett, Alexandra Moltke, Marie Wallace...and there was something really sexy about Ellizabeth Eis. Then again, Joan and Grayson were really beautiful too. There were lots of lovely women on "Dark Shadows."

Lara Parker - hands down. I was in love with her during the shows' original run. I also lost my heart to Kate Jackson during the last year of the show. I was all of 11 when it went off the air.

I'm not sure what constitues a 'hot' woman (but I can sure tell when it's a hot man [ghost_grin]) but I'd have to say that Lara Parker is it based on the reaction of most of the men I know who are into DS.

Not an easy question to answer.
In general, I would have to say Angelique was the hottest, especially in 1840, 1897 and when she was in modern dress. But she was perhaps most beautiful in the movie Night of Dark Shadows. Yet she was as her sexiest when sporting fangs...!
But Maggie Evans was a very close second in Parallel Time, and Rachel Drummond had this waif-like attractiveness that made we want to see her bitten by Vampire Angelique (What? Don't tell me I'm the only one! [ghost_cool] ).
Tribute also needs paying to the Carolyn in House of Dark Shadows with that diaphanous gown which kept hinting at so very much more than we could actually see!
Finally--and this may surprise some--Magda the Gypsy. Didn't you get the impression she'd be a tigress in bed?

KLS was IMO the sexiest/hottest woman on the show. I still have a woman crush on her!! She is beautiful. I also think that Joan Bennet was one classy woman too. Regal if you like. I also appreciate the fact that many of the ladies of DS have become writers in their own right. Beauty and Brains!! Marie Wallace has become more beautiful with time. She looks wonderful.

Joan Bennett was definitely beautiful, both on the show and in her younger days.
There's also, to me, an unconventional sex appeal about Grayson Hall - or, well, more specifically, about Julia. I think it's the tweed and lab coats. [naughty]

I agree. People look at me crossed eyed when I say Julia or GH is sexy. She has some damn nice legs and was a beautiful woman. I think her smoking habit took a toll on her face however, after "THE EYE LIFT" it took ten years off her face and looked AMAZING toward the end of the series. BTW...the eye lift is used as an anecdote to convey how much DC liked Grayson in RJ Jamison's biography of the late great GH. I am no way telling tales out of school.

I'm not sure I am qualified to select the "hottest" female on Dark Shadows, but I'd like to throw in my two cents concerning the most beautiful and/or the most talented (IMHO).
Joan Bennett and Marie Wallace would be my choices as most beautiful----in that order. Most all DS ladies were lovely and it's difficult to pinpoint only one.
In the talent department, I always thought Nancy Barrett was most believeable. I've been watching Dark Shadows: the Beginning and Nancy has impressed me in those early episodes as well as later storylines----especially the Pansy role. Of course, Bennett is fabulous, but she certainly has a leg up on the rest of the cast! [ghost_rolleyes]

Sure your qualified even if you a straight woman. :) In this time Hottest means "pretty" "sexy" etc. Or that is what I meant by it when I started my hottest male topic. I am gay male but I think the hottest woman on DS was probably Lara Parker. What a knock out! WHEW!! I know several other gay men on this board who have crushes on DS gals as well. [ghost_wink] I know it makes no sense however, I have never really cared if I made sense to anyone!! LOL

Joan Bennett anytime, but especially the first couple of episodes in that black gown dripping with diamonds (I am reminded of an image someone here placed in my mind sometime ago of Liz, in that outfit grilling hot dogs. "Spearing a recalcitrant frank" I think was the phrase! LOL)
Maggie was quite hot when she quarreled with Joe (when he was under Angelique's power), and when he asked her where she wanted to go for dinner, she shot back "Somewhere they serve baby food!"
Vampire Ang was hot.
Kate Jackson I will always have a soft spot for. She was always my favorite Angel.

For out-and-out hotness in purely sexual meaning, it's Marie Wallace as Eve, hands down! That woman looked like she stepped out of the Collinsport branch of The Playboy Club- the teased hair, the boobs, the walk, and that black dress! Remember that Hollies song "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress"? That's Eve all over:

I have to agree on MW, but not on all the Playboy bunny business. She comes across as strong and strange and dangerous, a woman who'd eat you alive (but it might be worth it), not as someone who'd dress up in a silly outfit and serve you drinks. To each his own.

I know this is strange to say here but I envision Marie Wallace playing Katherine Hepburn in a movie about her life. I just remembered that that thought had crossed my mind when I was talking with Marie Wallace at the fest in Las Angeles several years ago. She certainly has retained her good looks over the years and she's a really good actress too.

I'm a newbie here, but Lara Parker was simply beautiful when I was 10 years old and still looks wonderful when I turned 50! I watch sometimes and have to shake my head at Barnabas, and say "what are you thinking buddy!" I must suffer from that bad girl syndrome. Kathryn Lee Scott comes in a close second!

Welcome BC1958. I take lots of BC brand aspirin-caffeine powder and was also born in 1958, so... well, I don't know what that could possibly mean, so never mind. This adds more evidence for my theory that everyone who volunteers his or her age on the Internet is exactly my age.
At age 10 I had a little bit of a thing for Beth. Ang is too magnetic in other ways that it overwhelms everything and attraction never comes up for me, though I can easily see it.
Now it's Marie Wallace for me. I like and admire the other actresses, but nothing more really.

Welcome fellow newbie BC1958. I heartily agree with you. I was about the same age when I fell in love with those beautiful green eyes. I still love green eyes even today. It is so strange that those eyes have haunted me all my life. My wife and I both have brown eyes but for some strange reason my daughter was born with a beautiful set of green eyes just like Lara Parker. [ghost_shocked] Like you I think that Kathryn Leigh Scott was also very pretty as well as most of other women on the show.But I have to say that the eyes have it. [ghost_wink]
