Things you bought at the fest.

I purchased the music cd for HODS and NODS and am just now looking through the little booklet inside. It has some interesting facts about where scenes were filmed and some that were deleted. One photo from HODS shows Maggie finding David hanging in her bedroom closet by rope (pretending to be dead) which was a deleted scene. Another piece of trivia I did not know was the HODS was  originally rated X in England due to the bloody vampire scenes. Is that amazing or what .  So I am off to listen to some music now.

I kept my purchases low this year. I picked up the complete DS music collection, and also grabbed DS:The First Year, DS: Resurrected, and Grayson Hall: A Hard Act To Follow.

Let's see, what did I buy?  I bought DS Resurected (I think that's the name) and DS Reunion from MPI, Casting Shadows and a Tarrytown 2007 shirt, complete w/Bramwell & Catherine on horseback at Lyndhurst on it, from Bobubas, an autographed photo from Betsy Durkin, and I think that's it.  I did however get a free copy of KLS's Charlie's Angel's book, who-hoo!  Couldn't believe it when he told us they were FREE!!

He doesn't sell them at a table, even when there's a dealor's room.  You pretty much have to pre-order them although he usually does bring a few extras to sell.

I bought the 2008 DS calendar, the Barnabas doll, a 2007 Tarrytown shirt and a 2005 Hollywood -- er -- Collinwood (LOL!) shirt from Bobubas, the Grayson Hall book, and I won Donna McKechnie's autographed book at the auction for $10 (I was the only bidder -- LOL!) -- woo hoo!  LOL!

And I thank you for that Joey!  I was able to pre-sell 3 copies of my book and that allowed me to go see Curtains w/David Hyde Pierce on Tuesday night!  Great play btw, highly reccomend it!     Let me know what you think of the book Joey, I'd be very interested to hear.     Interesting that Amazon has lowered it's price for Volume I to $29.99.  Guess they want to compete w/Walmart!

Well, I bought set #4 of the pre-Barnabas DVDs, but I wish I'd gotten set#3.  You see, I had won a set of Dark Shadows- The Beginning set #3 off eBay, but the package was lost in the mail and I got a refund by the seller.  So, if anyone has set #3 for sale, please send me a message!

I bought four copies of the JF DVD for me and friends who could not make the fest, two copies of Angelique's descent on CD one for me and one for a friend who I know does not have the original novel, and also a pciture of Barnabas and Angelque, had Lara sign the latter and she said thanks for buying them--I already had Marie's book as an ebook so I just told her hello and that I enjoyed it.....that was nice Lara said that, I am always happy to support any endeavors she and JF are involved in.  You know, it looked to me that Lara's autograph line was the longest this year, I wonder if i was a lot of Barnabas/Angelique fans in attendance??

Finances were limited this year due to having to fly across the country, so...I bought...um...food?  They don't feed you any more on those flights!   

I PLANNED on buying another Bug & Critters book from Lara, but sort of ended up playing Seat Monitor while everybody else got autographs and stuff, so I guess I'll just order it from her. I did get to say Hi to Lara and Kathryn and Betsy and Marie!

And thanks to everybody for buying my buttons!!!!     I was able to pay for my taxi ride from Providence, R.I. to North Attleboro, MA during my Victoria Winters Genealogy Tour---and still have some $$ left over!!!!
