It could be that I just wasn't able to find them, but it seems that Amazon Prime has, for some unaccountable reason, decided to drop the pre-Barnabas episodes from its collection. It was nice having access to that earlier portion of the series, particularly as the CDSWP is now, once again, plowing through those episodes.

It could be that I just wasn't able to find them, but it seems that Amazon Prime has, for some unaccountable reason, decided to drop the pre-Barnabas episodes from its collection. It was nice having access to that earlier portion of the series, particularly as the CDSWP is now, once again, plowing through those episodes. 

Apparently their availability was short lived because I just read where as of a few days ago they've been pulled without warning "by the copyright holder," which is most probably MPI, and are now only available for purchase.

Major Bummer for fans who have been watching on Amazon Prime. But presumably they're still available for free on the other sites where DS is available for streaming...

Apparently now all of DS is no longer free to Amazon Prime members - everyone has to pay for all the eps of the series, not just the pre-Barn eps. And also apparently it can be traced back to MPI. But wasn't I just saying the other day how odd it was that MPI offered DS for free on Amazon but made fans pay for it on their own DS Web site? MPI does have an account here - hopefully they didn't read that post and that gave them the idea to no longer offer it for free. An unlikely scenario, but one never knows...
