I can't tell if it's the same - I imagine any ring with a dark stone would look like that - or is that all they mean, the similarity?

It's hard to tell if the ring is exactly the same. To me it might be a bit smaller. But I suspect they're going for the fact that it looks very similar and it's being worn on the index finger...
