Love, love, love the image of the erie and evil Barnabas in the Old House window. I cannot get enough of it.
Frid looks a bit different in this episode but it might be my watching on a different VCR and TV. Willie's sense of urgency and panic is annoying me for some reason. And Frid's acting is not up to par in the first two scenes. And I agree with AD, that Julia's upbeat attitude and her trust of Barn's word is asking a bit much of us to swallow. (My words)
David Ford's performance get the thumbs down. KLS is holding her own (as per usual, though not so much in her scene with Sharon Smyth). I am thinking about the wise cracking waitress wearing a quilted flower print robe and giggling to myself. I bet that Maggie wore baby doll pajamas.
Sarah's cranky and not afraid to show it (the little snot, doesn't she know she's all ready on my shit list). Very, very interesting that Sarah sez that she felt that Maggie wanted her to come to her. This harkens back to Lydia's take on Sarah's existence, that Maggie willed her into/onto the present-day plane. I wonder what is so important about Maggie possessing that doll. I wonder if this is one of those unsolved DS mysteries?
Favorite line this episode: "Willie! Did you just throw pebbles at my window?"
I wonder if this is a Sedwick episode, I am not liking the acting - at all; even Karlen is off his game.
Not much else to say. This episode is very unimpressive. A Lela Swift ep., how disappointing.
