The June 19th Episodes

PT Roger has to have one of his best scenes in Ep #1040:

1970: Ep #1040 - Once Quentin returns, Roger wastes no time
in telling him that Bruno came on to Maggie.
I absolutely love how Roger sarcastically twists the knife in every conceivable way possible. And then when Quentin finally asks him, "Did it ever occur to you that you are not very funny?" Roger ponders a second and then assuredly replies, "No, as a matter of fact it hadn't." Priceless! And yes, Quentin, Roger is most certainly very funny!  [lghy]

I'm not into polls enough to run a poll here on Best Bitch of Collinwood, but I'd say that PT Roger would be hard to defeat for the title!  That's probably why I enjoy the character so much since I find the vicious humor amusing.  I know this sort of thing is not to everyone's taste but I agree with you MB--as far as I am concerned, Roger IS very funny!  There's a kind of twisted pathos to the character as well ... he may be a VERY sick puppy, but I find myself unable to look away when he's onscreen.  And Edmonds creates the character with such brilliant subtlety.

That's a great shot from that sequence, too.  Congratulations, MB!

I too concur, most of Louie's characters were absolutely, piss in your pants hysterical!  RT Roger and Joshua being, I think, the funniest of the lot.  One of my favorite lines from 1795 is when Barnabas is talking about his love for Josette and Joshua retorts, "Men were better off when marriages were arranged for them and love was a word best suited for ladies novels!"  Talk about priceless!  ;)
Buzz-isms:

"I like the bike I got, & the chick I got!"
"I know just the place!?Over in Logansport!"
"If ya feel it, SIT it!"
"Come on, before he offers me a side car too!"
"Her nose needed some powder!"
"You askin' me to give up something I like?"
