...well, just for about six weeks on vacation.  Actually, during that time, I'll have on-again/off-again internet access, so I'm sure on occasion I'll be able to add my droll two-cents worth and keep up with things.  A good, ten-day chunk I won't have access because I'll be.....going on a cruise to Bermuda!  And when we dock on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, there's a slight chance I'll be able to make it for a few hours to the convention in Brooklyn (we sail in and out of NYC).  So maybe I'll run itno some of you there.

Now I hafta go do laundry and pack.  I'll get everyone a cheesey T-shirt or ashtray as a gift while I'm gone.  Or maybe a pair of authentic Bermuda shorts.

What?! The ship doesn't have wireless Internet access?!! What sort of shoddy outfit have you booked with?!!!! ::)

My husband and I are cruising to Bermuda, too!  What day are you leaving, and what cruise line?  We're leaving August 17th on Royal Caribbean!  Wouldn't it be a hoot if we ended up on the same ship (which DOES have internet access, by the way!)

We're going to miss each other by a week, Robin!  We're sailing the week before Labor Day weekend (with several days prior in NYC) on the Horizon of the Celebrity Line.  I've been on her before, in the Carribean.  She's a beautiful ship, smaller and cozy, but her stability isn't great - thank goodness I can wear the transderm patch!  Have a great time on your cruise, Robin, and if we pass each other in the Atlantic, let's wave from the promenade decks.  And thanks everyone for your bon voyages!  (I will probably make an occasional dive back into here over the next several weeks when I get internet access - and I'm too cheap, MB, to use the ship's internet access!)

Now it's 6:30 in the morning, I have to finish packing, and go to the store yet to pick up last minute stuff I always forget.  And then we hit the road.

I, too, was worried when I saw your subject heading!

And I, too, will likely be having a period of absence -- or at least infrequent presence -- here on the forum until early September ...

I'm moving to another city in another state in about a week.  I have my new laptop, but haven't had time to learn how to use it yet ...  Also, I won't bother getting my own Internet access until after I've moved.

All of these years using school or work computers means I have little idea what to do with my own now that I finally have one!  Windows operating system?  Installing software?  Ordering Internet service?  Help!!!
