Maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't the spirit of the piece supposedly to present a positive view of sexually active seniors and to support the notion that senior sex is "not at all horrifying, as you might expect"? If so, why sum up by including a phrase like "nonrevolting coupling," as in "it’s refreshing to see at least one example of dignified, nonrevolting coupling by those in their sunset years"? Doesn't that sort of defeat the seemingly intended purpose of the article? Although on second thought, given this IS the Boston Herald, I suppose one shouldn't really be surprised they felt they had to throw that in.
