David Selby in DECK THE HALLS on TNT

David Selby has a role in the TNT Mystery Movie Deck the Halls, based on the novel by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark, which reunites him with Jane Alexander with whom he has worked on stage and more recently on television in HBO's Tell Me You Love Me. Selby portrays the father of Detective Regan Reilly. His character is kidnapped just before the holidays.

Deck the Halls will premiere on Tuesday, December 20, at 9 PM ET on TNT. It will be rebroadcast at midnight that same night. Additional airings on Friday, December 23, at 1 AM ET and Saturday, December 24, at 12 noon ET.

The sections are being expanded as the premiere dates approach. At the moment, the video is the generic trailer for TNT Mystery Movie Night, but look for that to change. The photo section for the movie includes some shots with David.

You can watch online on TNT under full episodes.  They are proboly counting the  numbers there. :)

One of the broadcast times listed on the TNT web site was wrong. Instead of airing at 1 AM ET last night, Deck the Halls will be shown at 11 PM ET this evening (12/23 F).

I finally saw it last night, taped it from the first airing, and it's so cute. David's wonderful in it. It's more of a mystery set during Xmas and not so much a Xmas movie but it's completely family friendly for the holidays. A lot of humor too. Great cast, my only complaint is that I would have liked Jane Alexander to have had a few more scenes. But the ones with her and David are priceless. Definitely worth the watch!   [8_2_73]

It was good - something I would have liked anyway - except I wouldn't have known about it or made a point of getting it if it hadn't been for Selby being in it.  [8_2_73]
