The acting was superb all around.

Episodes don't get any better than this, my friends!

Indeed! Absolutely mesmerizing!

I wonder how many bruises Nancy Barrett sustained in that last scene? That's one of the more physical fights on DS. Barrett and Rodan were wonderful.

I don't think I've seen either of them this good--especially in scenes that must've been difficult to do. Rodan takes a thankless, goofy part and gives such a layered performance; scenes like this also remind you of how Nancy Barrett can be when given more than just the usual rich, pouty Carolyn material.

Nice farewell to Angelique, Nicholas. Are you keeping her coffin in your basement, rather than burying it? Why?

Yeah, and that room! When Roger was showing him around, I guess he said: "Well, Nicholas, there's three bedrooms and two and a half baths...oh, and a secret room where you can keep your coffins!"

There's been a sudden death in my family and I'm not able to get into my "Julia nonsense" frame of mind at the moment.

Sorry to hear that, Connie. Many condolences...

As for potential "surprise" guests, might either of the Halls be interested in attending?

That was my first thought...I assume both still live in NYC.

"Jeb" sounds like a hillbilly.

Come & listen to my story of a man named Jeb,
The grown Leviathan Child
And the guy who Carolyn wed.

He was dogged by a shadow
And went to Widow's Hill.
That's when Sky sent him for an awful spill.

I always liked the name Victoria...

But I've never liked the nickname "Vicki"; it sounds like a name for exotic dancers & truck stop waitresses...

LOL!

One more reason it's a pity that there was never a DS musical episode!   :)

I think my least favorite male name is Bramwell - it always makes me think of a new cookie by Nabisco. "Try our new Bramwells."

LOL! How true!

My least favorite female name is Roxanne. The name sounds somehow lurid to me, I don't know why.

Maybe you associate Roxanne with the Police song by the same name, which is about a hooker... ?!?

It's fortuitous that this subject has come up.  I found out last week that I'm about to be an uncle for the very first time and just yesterday I think I sold my little sister on the name "Grayson" for either a boy or a girl.  She really liked the way it sounded with her married surname and put in on the very short list of names for consideration.   ;D

Daphne, Roger Davis is Peter Bradford/Jeff Clark.  He's the one who's always touching his hair.  I'm sure you know who he is.

And if you're still not sure and need a visual, check out the homepage... :)

(patting Daphne's back) There, there...catch your breath.  Glad you like my bizarro world Barnabas & Julia. It would be fun to see her really take charge and start throwing shots at Angelique, wouldn't it?

It's funny seeing KJ and Cheryl Ladd 2gether before Charlie's Angels. And Jaclyn Smith was like engaged 2 Don Briscoe or .... erh ... someone one DS.

Actually, it was Roger Davis--he was Jaclyn Smith's first husband.  :)

Seriously: you're doing a great job and I admire your tenacity. Keep going, Darren, 'cause you'll get there.

Even Roger seems to be making a connection between the portrait and Cassandra...

Ya think?  ?!?

He seems like he has that cluelessness that is so much a Collins family trait. I mean, he's upstairs with Vicki, looking at the portrait, hears a scream, runs downstairs and sees a living version of said portrait at the front door! Wearing the same shroud Cassandra was wearing when she left the great house.

Then there was all that hidden subtext between Julia & Barnabas, as they spoke in "code" in front of the ever-clueless Roger...

I think all that brandy's pickled poor Roger's brain...

We'll try not to hold that against you...so long as you don't tell us that you also love dull-as-dish-water Riley.

I know a lot of people have absolutely no love for Riley, but he never really did affect me one way or another...he was okay in "As You Were"; his bride, on the other hand... :P

I remember Bad Ronald!! I don't think I see any similarity with Adam, though.

Maybe I should've given that comment one of these:  ;)  It was simply my lame attempt at humor... :-X

I'd rather have a Twilight Zone marathon than Forever Knight...or The Chronicle...or Lexx...or Brimstone...or Firestarter: The Next Generation...or--
