I haven't been on the board this weekend, so I was shocked to find frickin' Tales of the Crypt on this morning!

Wait a minute! Frances Sternhagen and Treat Williams just kissed!

Eww! Treat Williams!

I re-watched the episodes where Jason finally discovers Barnabas' secret this summer and enjoyed them as if I'd never seen them before.

Dennis Patrick always brought such excitement and an underlying sense of humor to each scene that he was in, and worked so well so with each member of the cast.

(I love it when Jason tries to bribe Buzz into dumping Carolyn with the promise of a new motorcycle. [lghb] A fond TV memory.)

Anyway, I'm very sad to hear about this...sad, sad news.

:'(

Don Briscoe might be an image carved from wood, but it seems to me like Gothick wants to be a lumberjack!

Can't believe you didn't note the potential humor/gossip of Amy finding Dr. Hoffman, in her pajamas, at Chris' cottage in the morning...

I thought the very same thing! Chris wouldn't need a sedative once Julia was through with his wooden ass.

As for David, has anyone at Collinwood ever considered how much a spanking--or a good ol' fashioned caning--would help that boy?

Poor Sherriff Patterson.  He certainly was no Columbo!

He wasn't even Barney Fife!

He was less historionic, but just as foppish as ever!

Vicki also has a dress with the BIG shiny buttons running up and down the side (the episodes were in B&W...blessfully!) that is almost as hideous.

Hey, I like that dress!

"Do as I say" is high atop the list of maddening phrases from Dark Shadows--right up there with "There's no time to explain" and "You wouldn't understand".

Congratulations to Midnite, Psychic Moderator...Who, had she been at Collinwood, may very well have been able to solve many of the mysteries that plague those unfortunate residents.

Or would have gotten herself killed off in a couple of episodes before she could tell anyone what the heck is going on!!

When I look at Don's hair, I just want to run my fingers through it.

Be sure to wear rubber gloves!

hair might not be the first thing on his mind!

But it should be the first thing on the minds of the hair and make-up people. They butchered poor Donnie Briscoe! Maybe since he is an image carved from wood, they used one of those funky table saws and completely screwed up!

I imagine Roger whoring around London, dancing in the streets like Austin Powers...

Yeah, baby!

My god!

I've been blinded by the pasty, bony body of Donnie Briscoe!

Who knew an image carved from wood could be so damn shiny?!

hey it was the 60s man.. have you seen hair from other shows in that time period!

Yes, I have...and not everyone's hair looked as oily, badly cut and just generally as crappy as Donnie Briscoe's looked today. It didn't look this way when he first joined the show.
